What are your office hours?

On Monday and Wednesday, we are open from 8:00AM to 5:00PM. On Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, we are open from 8:00AM-3:00PM. We are closed for major US holidays.

What do I need to bring with me to my appointment?

Please bring a list of your current medications, any glasses you currently wear, your insurance card and driver's license or photo ID.

How long will my appointment take?

We strive to offer you the best customer service and reduce our wait times as much as possible. We work to ensure that no office appointment takes more than an hour and a half.

What insurance do you accept?

We accept almost all insurance providers. Feel free to call ahead to see if your specific provider is accepted.

Do you make glasses?

We focus on providing you with the best prescription for your glasses, and then you can take them to any of the local glasses shops to buy your new glasses.

We do not perform LASIK surgery.

Where do you do cataract surgery?

We operate at the Jenny Stuart Medical Center

in Hopkinsville,
Caldwell Medical Center in Princeton and the Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville.

What type of lenses do you use in cataract surgery?

In addition to standard lenses, we provide the option for bifocal lenses as well as lenses to correct for astigmatism.

Will I be put to sleep during cataract surgery?

We do not do full anesthesia for our cataract surgery. We give you an IV with a valium-like medication that relaxes you while we perform our surgery.

Will I get stitches or a patch after cataract surgery?

We do not use stitches or patches in our cataract surgery procedures.

How long does it take for me to recover from cataract surgery?

You will be recovered and able to work the very next day. Since we use a valium-like medicine during the procedure, it is not safe to drive again until the next day.
